Firn Guide

The Firn Guide is a technical mountaineering ice axe designed for demanding high mountain tours and classic alpine climbs. The slightly curved anodized aluminium shaft delivers an ergonomic shape and a sandblasted finish for improved grip. Ridges on the lower shaft increase hold during strikes. The pointed stainless steel pick allows precise placement and is easy to hold thanks to the ergonomically shaped head. The I‑profile pick provides good torsional strength at low weight. The aggressive sharp adze provides power for cutting steps or digging T‑slot anchors. A large cut‑out in the pick accommodates even large carabiners.
