Giga Jul belay tuber with assisted braking 7.1–10 mm

Giga Jul is an extremely versatile belay tuber combining standard and assisted braking in one device. The assisted braking function can be engaged or disengaged via an intelligent mechanism making it ideal for situation dependent belaying and abseiling in alpine terrain.

• Small eyelet for releasing the unit with a carabiner when bringing up your partner
• Suitable for ropes with a diameter of 7.1–10.0 mm
• Intelligent hybrid design with an ultra-light aluminum body and abrasion prone areas in robust stainless steel
• Guide mode for simple rapid abseiling and raising seconds plus comfortable belaying from a belay station with a doubled rope
• Assisted braking guide mode provides brake boost for catching leader falls
• Rope can be paid out faster in assisted braking guide mode by holding the device in the open position with the thumb
